Christmas Photos

I am posting several days worth of Christmas photos - from Eve, day and some of the following days when his Baccas and Aunt Jess came to visit.

Gabriel woke up Christmas morning to find that Santa (who we assured him was not still here) left him a Choo Choo Train Track!! We had to bribe him to open presents after that. So, that dragged on throughout the day. His GeeDaw and MawMaw gave him a drum set....and he likes for me to sing (with my amazing singing voice) while he plays along. We do twinkle twinkle, and all aboard the choo choo train. I'll try to get a video of our little rock star. One day he will be on stage and say "I want to thank my parents for letting me play my drums as loud as I wanted to!!"

He also got big boy undies....with of course, Thomas on them. The Baccas came in on the 28th, and Gabriel was so excited to show them the train! (I was excited for someone else to get to play with the train, as well!) We also went to the Georgia Aquarium to see (in Gabriel's words) the BIG Pish! I think the sea lions were at the top of his favorites because they would bark.

We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, and we'll post after New Year's!

Helping Mommy Bake

Okay, Cheyna! You got me beat with your little helper! All Gabriel wants is the spoon so he can eat the chocolate. I get no help. :o)

Gabriel is actually trying to smile, but this is all I get since his face and hands are covered in chocolate!

Christmas of Lights

Well, this was a little silly if you ask me (and overpriced), but the kids enjoyed it. I took Gabriel and our neighbor, Addison, and we met my step-mother, Janis and niece, Chloe. Chloe went up to everyone....and wasn't afraid. I carried Addison through most of it...and Gabriel was off and on. He did give Santa a high-five...and visited with Rudolph for just a minute before sprinting it back to me. Addison yelled at Santa what she wanted while I held her. And low and behold...Gabriel found a choo choo train!!

Oh, the Madness

I was pulled out of bed this morning...yes, pulled. I heard Gabriel up around 7:15, but he actually came into my room to get me at 8:15. Hmmmmmm....what does a 2 year old do for an hour unsupervised, you ask? Well. He opens Christmas presents.

I had 4 on the table.....fortunately not his (they were all in hiding)....and he opened them all. No more wrapped presents for the little monster! ;o)

Christmas Tree Shopping

We went to Temple, GA with our neighbors to pick out the ol' family Christmas tree. We have been watching Christmas Vacation, so we were ready! Gabriel and Addison just enjoyed running around and hiding in the trees. We got our tree home, with little problems, and Jonathan started on the yard. I'll try to get some pictures of that soon. Although, the fun part is watching him string lights in bushes and put together trains and reindeer. :o)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday. I am thankful for so much in my life, and hope to never take any of our blessings for granted. We had a nice day with my family, even though Gabriel missed a nap. And we missed Jonathan's group. We look forward to seeing the Bacca's around Christmas!

Love, Us!

Santa Came to Villa Rica!

Santa came into town on Tuesday, along with the lighting of the tree. So we went with our neighbors, and Granddaddy and MawMaw. Gabriel nor his new friend, Addison, would have anything to do with Santa. They are all talk until it comes to the real thing. ;o)

Steve, Cara & Addison (Not so sure about Santa)
Granddaddy and MawMaw were SO excited to see Santa!

The tree was exciting for them both
Ready to go home

All the Boys!

Monday I had two of my friends come by with their boys...and a nephew. Soooo many boys!! Jonathan was home as well, so he got out and kicked the ball with them.
