New York City

I took my mom to New York for her birthday. She had never been, so we did a tour, and then went to watch The Lion King on Broadway. We went with my friend, Sarah, and her mother. It was long, busy day - but we all had such a great time. I took a ton of pictures of the city...but, only a couple with us in them!

Kisses for MiMi

My mother came into town for a quick weekend, and Gabriel took right to her. (Of course, she bribed him with a motorcycle). By lunch, he only wanted to show off for her.

The Boys

I took a picture of Gabriel and the fast-growing Jameson the other morning. I'm not sure why the glare...guess it's just the boys' angelic glow. ;o)

Airplane!

Gabriel enjoys seeing the airplanes on base. So, I figured I take a couple of pics of him next to it while we're here.

Baby Bird

Or chicken...as Gabriel called it. We were driving down the street, and I swerved so I wouldn't hit this little bird walking across the road. Then I realized it a was baby. I turned around and went back, and it was sitting in the middle of the other lane. Sooooo.........of course (those that know me) I picked it up and brought it home. However, I think it was close to flying, so I ended up letting it go. I hope a cat didn't get it. At least it was away from the road.

STELLA!!!

Gabriel's favorite cousin, Stella (who is 9 days older) came by Sunday to play for a bit. Here are a couple of pics of the two.

Gabriel's Car

We pulled out Gabriel's remote control car that he hasn't played with in a while. He looks SO grown up to me. (And so serious!)

Time Out

We have started Time Outs. (Thanks to Cheyna) I just had to take a picture. My babysitter told me that we should use a less-comfortable chair.

Mommy's a 'Peach'

It sounded like a cute idea. I was eating a peach, and Gabriel kept calling it an apple. So, I corrected him...and told him it was a peach ...... like Mommy! (Thinking how cute if he calls mommy a peach!) Well. Gabriel can't say Peach. It sounds more like a female dog. "clearing throat" So....guess what he told daddy that mommy is.

Bear is now asleep

(Anyone watch the Wiggles??)
There is a song that Gabriel enjoys from the Wiggles, and it's called Bear is now asleep. So, almost every night when he is in bed he'll sing it but instead of 'bear' he has to go through the entire family.

"Mommy's now asleep...shh, shh, shh. Daddy's now asleep....shh, shh, shh. Bailey's now asleep...shh, shh, shh. Rocco's now asleep...shh, shh, shh. Gabriel's now asleep...shh, shh, shh."

Very cute!! I just wanted to share.

On the phone with grandparents

Wait dad, I'm on the phone with Grandpa
Really? Wow, that's interesting.

Growing up so fast

I am tall enough to turn on and off....on and off...on and off the lights!
Such a hard life for Rocco
If dad is eating cereal, I'm eating cereal! I do whatever daddy does!

With his buddy, Jameson

Gabriel insists on doing everything himself...even feeding Jameson. I try to help, and he just gets upset with me. (Just wish I could get him to change a diaper!)

Nick and Julia's upcoming wedding.

They call him Spider-Dog!

Hot, Hot Day

Today was a pretty toasty day. My car was showing 101 at 4:00. So, stupid me decides we'll go to the zoo today. ??? I don't know what I was thinking. We only saw two bird exhibits, and everything else was smart enough to stay in their hiding places where it was cooler. So, after an hour of walking around searching for "A-mol" (as Gabriel pronounces it)...we gave up and headed to the pool. I was surprised that we were the only people at the kids pool with it being so hot. After playing for half an hour, he got out and laid down on his towel and told me 'night-night'. Guess the sun was just too much today.

This is about the only exhibit we saw today
(notice the little white baby front center)

Still looking for A-mols

Some shade to run around

Cooling off at the pool

Children's Science Museum

I took Gabriel for his second trip to the Science Museum. He loves it. All the way there he just kept saying "mommy...MUSEUM!...mommy....MUSEUM!" For 30 minutes, I just kept repeating, "yes honey, we're going to the museum." He played for almost 2 hours nonstop, then finally looked up at me and said "bye bye, mommy." Anything that wears a little one out is a good thing.

This is the Blue Man Exhibit
