When Gabriel and I came home from the gym tonight, Jonathan was home from work - Gabriel ran up to him hugging him and telling him about his day. Then he grabbed Jonathan's face, and kissed his forehead and said "Daddy, your my best friend. Thank you for Chuck-E-Cheese yesterday". (Jonathan took him to Chuck-e-cheese last night to play games.) I got instantly chocked up, and Jonathan looked up at me and said "did you tell him to say that?" I had never heard him say it, or talk about it.
I think we are raising a pretty sweet little boy.

This past Saturday, Jonathan and our neighbor, Steve, took the kids to White Water. Brave men. They got some real cute pictures, and had a great time. The dads were completely exhausted when they got home.

Week 3 - I'm really starting to get the hang of this...and I have a nice collection of coupons all organized in my little folder. I did my weekly shopping today, and saved 20%. I actually get excited about getting the paper on Sunday - cutting out all the coupons, and then shopping on Tuesday!! Real Housewives of Villa Rica!

Just putting this out there...something I came across tonight with what I had in the house. Since I've been doing this grocery game, I've stocked up on some ravioli and and some pasta sauce....which is just perfect for my carb-eating hubby. So, tonight I made a ravioli lasagna!! Just used the cheese filled ravioli for a little extra flavor instead of the lasagna noodles. Which, I guess you could use any of them...meat, spinach, mushroom, etc.
:o) Just sharing! (It's for you, Amanda, since I know you'll be in a crunch come dinner time!)

We went to a surprise party for our friend, Rob...and everyone chipped in and bought him Playstation 3 and Rock Band. Needless to say, we had quite a good time. I'm thinking about taking the stage in my near future with either a microphone or drums.
