Jonathan and I are leaving on Sunday for a week (without Gabriel) to go to Colorado and do some hiking, relaxing, hiking and more relaxing. Oh. And we're also going to the Air Force vs. Navy football game! We are both in need of a little down time, together. I'll post pictures when we get back!

This goes by so much faster than I ever imagined. I used to roll my eyes when my mom would tell me that....and now I want to cry when I look through his pictures. Gabriel has been such a joy, and made being a parent very enjoyable. Jonathan and I realize how quickly it goes, and we do not take a single moment for granted.
For Gabriel's birthday, we seemed to extend it to a good 5 day celebration. (Which is how I usually celebrate!) It started on Wednesday at school; Thursday his Baccas (Jonathan's parents) flew in to visit; Friday, his ACTUAL birthday he had soccer and played at McDonald's and got to go shopping at Toys R Us; Saturday we had his party, and several friends and family joined us; then on Sunday we took him to the circus. Busy weekend...but so much fun. So, I have a jumble of pictures over the weekend...his big present being a 4-wheeler! So, now him and our neighbor, Addison, can race!
Thank you to everyone for making Gabriel's big 3 a special event!

I posted this group from America's got Talent, because I think they are fantastic! Just wanted to share.

I thought this was cute. Jonathan....not so much. However, Jonathan is the one that took the picture so he would have "proof of what mommy is doing to his little boy". I think they match his scooby doo undies quite well.

I have put Gabriel into this (Very Beginner) Soccer program. They mostly just run around doing silly things, but I did catch him in an action shot jumping over noodles.

We had such a nice weekend with some friends that came in from Florida. Cheyna, Andy and Abby Vrabec (see blog list for friends). :o) They came up on Friday, and unfortunately I was in school all Sat and Sun, but Jonathan did get some nice pictures of the kids at the Children's Museum and Six Flags. And then on Monday, we had my parents and friends over for a cookout and to celebrate Jonathan's birthday. Nice time.....lots of sweet cute kids.
